Are YOU being heard?

In this noisy online world it can be so easy for us to get lost in the crowd, so when we see a coach who is cutting through it all and achieving success it can be so easy to want to mirror what they say, do and write.

They are the ones getting the likes and the clients, so they must have it all sorted, right?

Here's the thing.

You are no less than then them.

You may not have the marketing budget or the team just yet, but that doesn't mean that what you have to say is not important and life changing.

Your voice is important, and it needs to be heard.

Yesterday I had a conversation with a fellow coach. We spoke about how the days of the guru were coming to an end. People want a coach who is real, who has a unique 'voice' and who brings something different to the conversation.

People want authenticity. They actually crave it.

They also want someone who can help them achieve real and lasting transformation, and this can only occur when we give our clients the time they need to achieve it.

Our dream clients are savvy, they want to know that you have walked the path they are on. They value your stories of both your highs and lows. They want to know you have done the work and put in the time to achieve your dreams.

When I was a new business coach I 'borrowed' my mentors voice (this happens often when we have not yet found our own message), but very quickly something felt 'off'.
I knew it and so did my clients. I wanted to fit the mould of the successful coach whom I was trained by because she got the clients, but every time I tried I got nothing.

Deep down I knew that I was meant to stand out. Everyone knew the way I was showing up wasn't who I truly was, and so I had to dig deep to find my own unique message and way to speak my truth.

I was terrified.

Why do we find it so hard to be trailblazers?
Our reptilian brain wants to keep us safe, and stepping away from the crowd and the 'norm' means we could potentially be judged, ridiculed, shunned or fail.

Being true to yourself will not always easy, but it is always worth it.

It's is your job to show up in a different way, a way that means you can speak from the heart to your desired clients so they know that you are the coach for them.

Today I invite you to find your unique voice.

1. Bring it all.
Bring all of your experiences and your transformational knowledge to the party. You don't need to prove your worth anymore, you are already enough.
Now is the time to be uniquely you.

2. Selling is serving.
As you find your own voice you will also find a way of explaining what you do and how you do it. Many people have a fear of selling, because deep down they have not yet embraced what the offer.
Allow what you offer to become part of you and allow it to be a way you are of service in the world.

3. Be real.
When you are real and relatable, then people see themselves in you. Your fears and failures are part of who you are, so share the message they need to hear.

Now is the time to be brave.
Don't turn back and be part of the crowd, stand out and be you.

Love
