Why You Being In Business Will Bring About Gender Equality

I feel so passionate about women making their own money and bridging the equality gap through entrepreneurship.

Here’s why.

When I was younger I came to lead a business meeting and ‘told’ by the client to “go and make the tea, love, milk and two sugars.”

I was always paid less as a female scientist then my equivalent male colleagues.

I was the only female head chef and business founder at a massive live culinary demonstration event for TV chefs and I had to fight to be paid because a male chef’s fee was more than expected so I couldn’t be paid!!!

I know I’m not alone. I’m sure if you are reading this you will have been through a similar experience.

You see I founded my business not just to make money, but there’s a deeper reason. I’m here to support other women in doing the same. To become magnificent, confident, empowered women who can hold their head high and be the leading lady of their lives. They are women who show the next generation of girls and young women what is possible. When women make their own money they step into their power, they feel more confident to make decisions and can serve so many more people.
