Why You Need To Be Visible To Make Money

Visibility is a big requirement when YOU run your own business.

But so many of us have a fear around being visible and it is one of the biggest money blocks.

I hear from so many women that they find being visible very difficult.

They may be introverts. They may dislike the way they sound or look. They say that they do not have time or they are just plain scared to be seen.

These are all excuses, but they are also big barriers for a great number of aspiring (and established) entrepreneurs and they stop us from making even more money.

So, from a brain science and money block view why do we find it so difficult to be visible.

THE BRAIN AND VISIBILITY.

The job of your brain is not to make you successful, it’s to keep you safe. Anything out of the ‘ordinary’ and your brain perceives it as a huge, scary threat to your safety.

When we attach an emotions to the activity of getting more visible (like fear or apprehension), our subconscious brain has no way of distinguishing if this is a good or bad experience, it only detects the particular emotion. If the emotion is deemed ‘bad’ then it will do everything to try and stop you taking that action.

Ever heard of the saying ‘feel the fear and do it anyway?’ This plays into the visibility scenario, and there are ways to over come the fear. If you are not ready to take that step then that’s ok but I will invite you to consider this.

Please don’t hide away.

What you have to offer is just so important.

There are people wanting to work with someone like. If YOU get visible then it is YOU that they will begin to know, like and trust and ultimately choose. Getting allows you to become an authority and a leader in your area of expertise.

Sadly, if you don’ t get visible there’s a very good change you won’t be seen and less likely to make the income you desire from your business.

Here’s the deal. 

In 2020 and beyond Social Media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc. are where we have to build our businesses on. You may currently still have a physical office space or have begun to work from home, but to be ahead of the game you will need an online presence - so be present. For better or for worse, and as we move forward, social media sites will be predominantly more video based. Remember, it’s a powerful and potent tool to leverage, not to mention it’s largely FREE!!  

One really important thing to remember is that your business is not about you.

It’s never been about you.

You run your visionary business to be of service to others.

We HAVE to be seen. It’s a non-negotiable.
